Description:
South Valley Neurology is a fun & busy growing medical practice in Morgan Hill looking for someone to join our team as a Certified Medical Assistant. This is a full-time, permanent position. Our employees have been with us for many years and we are looking for someone with the ambition to do the same. We are passionate about our patient's health and the relationships we build with them.
Our Medical Assistants function as partial scribes as well and are a core part of each patient’s visit. Medical Assistants spend time in the exam room with patients gathering and documenting history, details about presenting problems, and treatment progress. They also act as technicians who administer diagnostic testing during patient visits. This is a fast-paced position requiring team work with the MA team and close contact with our neurologists.
We are looking for:
· Medical Assistant (Certified is preferred)
· 3 years of recent Medical Assistant Experience (experience in a specialty clinic is strongly preferred)
· Good team player, Good with Computers & EMRs (EPIC experience is strongly preferred)
· Professional approach to the role and a desire to grow skill sets
· A passion for patient relationships
· Comfort with interacting with the elderly and people with disabilities
· Strong ability to multi-task with accuracy and speed, fast paced work environment
· Great communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong computer skills, including typing efficiency
· Must be available Full Time, M-F and between 8:30am-5:00pm
· Bilingual – Spanish is a plus

Salary:
Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour*
* Employees actual pay rate will depend on a host of factors including, without limitation, job location, specialty, skillset, education, and experience. The pay scale/ranges are representative of the pay rates for the job title reflected above, but an employees actual pay rate will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Hours: Full time. Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.
