Responsibilities

• Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Operate POS systems such as NCR to process transactions accurately and quickly.
• Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, kitchen, and food preparation stations in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting staff during busy periods.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while adhering to food industry standards.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation or quick service restaurant environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as NCR for efficient transaction processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy.
• Experience with cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or working in a café or grocery store is a plus. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in the food industry while providing outstanding service in a lively environment!

Pay: $9.50 - $12.00 per hour
