Job Summary
Join our team as a Team Member - Service/Cashier, where you will be the friendly face and efficient operator at our service counter. Your energetic approach will ensure every customer receives exceptional service, whether they’re ordering food, making a purchase, or seeking assistance. You’ll be responsible for delivering quick, friendly service while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. No experience required!!
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, attentive service at the cashier station and food prep areas
- Operate POS system for sales transactions and order processing
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items or products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform basic math calculations with accuracy during checkout
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining area, and food handling zones through bussing and sanitation practices
- Assist with food preparation tasks including assembling orders, stocking supplies, and ensuring quality standards are met
- Support team members in serving customers quickly during busy periods in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting
Skills
- Experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments with strong customer service skills is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking
- Strong communication skills to engage with customers and team members confidently
- Demonstrated understanding of sanitation standards and proper food safety procedures
