We're looking for an Experiential Marketing Manager to lead immersive pop-ups, trade shows, beauty supply activations, and TikTok Lives—bringing Bask & Lather to life through unforgettable physical and digital moments that deepen customer connection and drive conversion.
What You’ll Do
Experiential & Event Marketing
- Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of all brand events—from tentpole moments (Essence Fest, Curlfest, Beautycon) to regional pop-ups, salon showcases, and B2B opportunities
- Concept and manage visual identity, booth buildouts, set design, and product displays for events and retail settings
- Coordinate with internal teams (creative, ops, social, influencer, retention) to ensure alignment across every touchpoint
- Manage all vendor relationships for venue, AV, fabrication, signage, staffing, and security
- Partner with celebrity/influencer teams to execute meet & greets, stage moments, and surprise experiences
- Own logistics, timelines, and real-time execution—including inventory, staffing, sampling, and breakdown
- Track and report on event performance metrics: foot traffic, email/SMS capture, social engagement, cost per visit, revenue, and ROI
- Build and maintain a master brand event calendar and create toolkits and SOPs for consistent execution
- Support execution of large brand-owned events are and smaller seasonal regional activations
Retail & Beauty Supply Presence
- Manage experiential rollout for new retail doors and partners, including setup of endcaps, displays, and demo stations
- Plan and support retail staff education experiences and beauty advisor training events
- Coordinate regional “beauty supply takeovers” with custom signage, influencer drops, and product education demos
- Maintain visual merchandising standards across all beauty supply and B2B partners with display kits and brand guidelines
- TikTok Live & Social Commerce Events
- Lead execution of TikTok Live and Mega Live experiences—owning planning, talent coordination, set design, scripting, and logistics
- Liaise with TikTok reps to align on calendar, promotion, and asset needs
- Prep talent with product talking points, customer FAQs, and performance goals
- Report post-Live KPIs and support fulfillment team on surge prep and inventory flow
- Collaborate with retention, content, and ops to create live moments that drive engagement and conversion
Community, Partnerships & Brand Experiences
- Support brand-led community events (e.g., panels, brunches, workshops) aligned to campaigns or product education
- Coordinate RSVP systems, guest comms, run-of-show, and real-time troubleshooting
- Partner with PR and social to ensure high-value content capture, influencer engagement, and press exposure
- Plan and support surprise & delight moments for VIP customers, creators, and loyalty program participants
- Maintain and update a partner database for brand collaborators, retailers, and seeding programs
Insights, Data, & Optimization
- Capture first-party data at events (email, SMS, qualitative feedback) and hand off to retention team for segmentation
- Support pre- and post-event survey strategy to assess perception, product interest, and conversion intent
- A/B test offers and lead magnets at live events to understand what drives re-engagement and sales
- Maintain inventory oversight and coordinate shipping for all event kits, sampling, and activations
What You’ll Bring
- 4–6 years of experience in experiential, brand, or event marketing (beauty, CPG, or lifestyle strongly preferred)
- Proven track record of planning events and pop-ups that build culture and drive customer action
- Experience with live shopping activations, retail displays, and creative visual merchandising
- Strong vendor and logistics management with excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills
- Passion for textured hair care, consumer connection, and IRL storytelling
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-touch environments with travel and weekend work as needed
- Some weekends and travel required
Bonus Points
- Design or creative direction experience
- Retail activation experience with partners like Ulta, Sephora, or national beauty supply chains
- Familiarity with influencer activations, UGC capture, and content scripting

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
