Other Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Evaluating students’ academic and social growth, keeping appropriate records, and preparing progress reports
- Communicating with parents via email, conferences, and other means to discuss student progress
- Identifying student needs and cooperating with the Subject Experts or other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems
- Providing differentiated instruction and executing IEP’s and 504 Plans with fidelity
- Substitute/duty coverage as needed
- Supervise students during classroom transitions throughout the day
- Occasionally represent BASIS Ed Texas at designated school wide community events outside of typical school hours
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Eligible to work in Texas Public Schools.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject.
- Ability to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance through TEA.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an elementary educator.
- Master’s degree in Education or related subject.
