BASIS Baton Rouge Materra is seeking qualified candidates for a Part-Time Cross Country Coach to join our bright, passionate team!
This is part of an auxiliary program and is not a full-time position.
Pay: BASIS Ed offers a competitive hourly pay for this position.
Required Qualifications:
- HS diploma, Bachelor's preferred
- Previous coaching experience
- Experience working with young athletes
- Ability to demonstrate cross country skills effectively
- Experience in cross country at a competitive level
Preferred Qualifications:
- Collegiate student-athlete experience
Responsibilities:
- Effectively teaching young athletes the fundamentals of cross country
- Creating and implementing drills to help build foundational skills
- Coaching students through best practices in sportsmanship
- Attending all meets and practices
