CDL Winch Truck Drivers

Basin Trucking and Rental is looking for CDL A drivers with a minimum of one year experience in winch truck operations.

Requirements:

• Transport permitted loads
• Coordinate with the Dispatcher on delivery, breakdowns, weathers, traffic conditions, etc
• Operate safety and on time
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
• Have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems, as well as knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe, driving, hours of service, load securement, inspections and maintenance
• Demonstrate the ability to clean, inspect and service vehicle
• Demonstrate the ability to position blocks and tie downs to secure cargo

Skills and Experience:

• Valid Class A CDL driver's license, with a clean abstract
• Willing to learn and take direction
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast paced environment to meet all deadlines with minimal supervision
• Physically able to do the work assigned
• Must be willing to wear the required PPE when working or when going on a site
• Work both inside and outside in excessive heat, cold, humidity, dampness or chilling weather conditions, be exposed to excessive and/or constant intermittent noise, work in confined areas and on slippery or uneven surfaces; and work in awkward uncomfortable positions.
• Get along well with co-workers and management and accurately communicate ideas, instructions, questions, problems, and solutions.
