About the Role
We’re hiring a Community Outreach & Referral Coordinator to help strengthen relationships with physicians, hospitals, and community partners. This role is key in supporting referral growth across our programs and ensuring providers feel supported and informed.
This position includes opportunities for performance-based incentives tied to referral outcomes and outreach impact.
What You’ll Do
- Build strong, consistent relationships with providers, hospitals, case managers, and community partners.
- Increase referrals through regular outreach, follow-up, and field engagement.
- Visit provider offices to check in, ensure satisfaction, and identify new opportunities.
- Represent Basin at community events, health fairs, and job fairs
- Share marketing materials and gather insights from referral partners
- Track outreach activity, referral trends, and feedback
- Work with internal teams to support timely referral and admission processes
- Report progress toward outreach and referral goals
- Represent Basin with kindness, professionalism, and integrity
- All other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Preferred qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or healthcare administration (or equivalent experience)
- 1 year in healthcare marketing, provider relations, or business development
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident with public speaking and representing an organization professionally
- Familiarity with healthcare referral processes and EMR systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Canva, and social media
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Communications
Physical Requirements
- Clear communication in person and by phone
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, and reach as needed
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs
- Close visual focus for reading and documentation
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Regular, reliable attendance
