We are now accepting applications for Line Cooks, here at Basin Harbor.
Our Line Cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking food for our outlets and banquet operations. Duties include preparation of whole foods for cooking, cooking a variety of foods, in adherence to the daily menus, as directed by our Chef's team.
We are seeking both full- and part-time seasonal Line Cooks to join our team for our upcoming summer season from mid-May though October, 2026.
Requirements
Some essential competencies are: Understanding the need for proper etiquette and service standards in a kitchen and service environment, prior food preparation experience of 2 years in a Line Cook or similar role required. Must be able to take direction and work in a team environment, attention to detail, efficient, and able to perform multiple tasks systematically in a fast-paced environment, ability to remember and follow kitchen cleanliness and food handling procedures. All kitchen staff require a clean, well kept, professional appearance. As well, shift work may require up to 10-hour shifts - walking and standing. Must be able to lift 20 lbs repeatedly.
