Basile Studio is not your typical fabrication shop. We design, engineer, fabricate, and install custom architectural features for high-end restaurants, hotels, hospitality venues, retail spaces, and commercial environments throughout the United States.

We're looking for a highly motivated Low Voltage Technician who enjoys building, troubleshooting, and bringing custom projects to life. Our work includes custom LED lighting systems, motorized architectural features, specialty fixtures, interactive displays, and unique electro-mechanical assemblies.

What You'll Do

• Assemble and wire custom LED lighting fixtures and low-voltage electrical systems.

• Build electro-mechanical assemblies using engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.

• Install drivers, transformers, dimmers, motors, actuators, switches, sensors, and power supplies.

• Perform soldering, connector termination, cable routing, and wire management.

• Test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair custom lighting and electrical systems.

• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.

• Work closely with engineering and fabrication teams during product development.

• Assist with field service and installation when required.

• Maintain accurate workmanship while meeting project deadlines.

• Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with low-voltage electrical systems or electronic assembly.
  • Strong soldering and wiring experience.
  • Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical failures.
  • Experience using multimeters and electrical testing equipment.
  • Experience with LED lighting systems and power supplies.
  • Comfortable working with motors, relays, switches, sensors, and controllers.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Qualifications

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

  • Arduino
  • PLC Controls
  • DMX Lighting Controls
  • Addressable LED Systems
  • Stepper Motors
  • Linear Actuators
  • Motion Control Systems
  • Custom Fabrication
  • Hospitality or Architectural Lighting
  • Electronics Repair
  • Prototype Development


Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortable using ladders and fabrication equipment.
  • Ability to perform detailed assembly work with small components.
