Job Description
Position Purpose:
Our Courtesy Clerks are the face of Bashas', responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. They execute a wide variety of tasks throughout the front end of the store, including bagging groceries, cleaning, collecting carts, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Bag customers' groceries in a neat, orderly fashion.
- Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and assist customers to their cars with their groceries.
- Maintain a cheerful, helpful attitude toward all customers and other Team Members.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the store and restrooms.
- Assist with "go backs" and accompany customers to locate items throughout the store.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:
Courtesy Clerks may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period:
- Standing
- Sitting
- Lifting Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.)
