Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing inquiries promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with food prep tasks like assembling orders, portioning ingredients, and managing inventory levels.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and ensuring a tidy environment for guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail food environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong skills in food preparation, handling, and sanitation to uphold safety standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management.
- Experience working in a café, grocery store, or restaurant environment is a plus.
