- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems, including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, MCCs, sensors, valves, motors, Wonderware System Platform, and related software applications.
- Designing, developing, and enhancing automation solutions while investigating equipment downtime and quality deviations to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Performing preventive maintenance on electrical, instrumentation, digitalization, and automation equipment to ensure system reliability and optimal performance.
- Managing industrial automation applications, hardware, and change management processes in accordance with site policies and procedures.
- Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of electrical, automation, and process control documentation, drawings, and technical records.
- Developing and executing automation and capital improvement projects, including scope, schedules, budgets, resource planning, and technical specifications.
- Overseeing equipment installations and modifications while ensuring compliance with NFPA, OSHA, BASF, and other applicable safety and regulatory standards.
- Promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement by ensuring electrical and automation systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Bring a minimum of five years of experience supporting, troubleshooting, and optimizing industrial automation and instrumentation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, process controls, and related equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Possess relevant professional certifications or technical accreditations in automation, controls, instrumentation, project management, or related fields, which are considered a plus.
