We are looking for an Account Manager - Human Nutrition, Vitamins & Carotenoids to join our Nutrition Ingredients team and manage customers across the US.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and strengthening strategic relationships with key customers in the Human Nutrition business, providing ingredients for dietary supplements, food and beverages, functional foods and other health and nutrition applications. This includes driving account strategies, supporting innovation projects, and expanding BASF’s position as a trusted partner for high-quality ingredients that help improve nutrition, wellness, and everyday health.


As an Account Manager - Human Nutrition, Vitamins & Carotenoids, you create chemistry by...

• Leading customer development and growth activities in alignment with the Human Nutrition strategy across Sales, Marketing, and Account Management.
• Driving the key account planning process, including developing and executing account plans for customers in the USA.
• Identifying, negotiating, and closing growth opportunities with customers while managing key internal and external stakeholders.
• Implementing the Human Nutrition strategy and delivering performance targets by defining budgets, monitoring critical KPIs, and driving new business and innovation initiatives.
• Acting as the primary customer focal point, serving as the key interface for BASF senior management and leading customer issue escalation and resolution.
• Building and maintaining senior-level customer relationships by presenting to internal and external stakeholders and steering high-impact business discussions.
  
  
  

If you...

• Hold a Bachelor’s or advanced degree and bring 5 years of business experience in Sales, Marketing, or Account Management.
• Demonstrate proven sales leadership and influencing skills, with experience supporting strategic account planning.
• Apply strong strategic thinking and organizational awareness to manage complex stakeholder environments and drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with an entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset across functions.
• Leverage strong business acumen, including experience managing budgets, KPIs, and business performance targets.
• Communicate effectively at a senior level, possessing strong interpersonal, presentation, and Microsoft Office skills to engage key decision-makers.

Pay transparency

BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive pay range for this role is $128,000 – $160,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
