Objectives of the Position:
- Responsible for and ensuring that the production process runs efficiently and effectively.
- Comply and follow all EHS regulations
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities:
EHS & Process Safety related:
- Comply and follow all EHS regulations
- Act as the work permit issuer (G1) in the production area according to the work permit matrix and other designated areas.
- Act as SERT during shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Providing feedback to the superiors regarding safety issues in the work area.
- Using personal protective equipment (PPE) according to the Safe Work Guidelines or PPE Matrix
Production related:
- Responsible for and lead production team during shifts
- Achieve production target for quality and quantity during shifts
- Checking the completeness of the batch card used for daily production activities.
- Checking the completeness of the production checklist related to unloading dan daily production activities.
- Ensure and monitor availability of utility unit for production process.
- Ensure production equipment in a good condition for production process
- Ensure production area in clean condition for safety purpose
- Conduct monthly meeting related to safety (Safety short talk). Create the Minutes of Meeting for the monthly meeting and attendance list.
- Reporting deviations that occur during the production process and creating daily reports..
- To suggest ideas/opportunities for improvement (such as lean manufacturing), process improvement, automation.
- Operate DCS system with DCS operator if needed
- Lead startup and shutdown activity
- Ensure production process accordance with Halal assurance systems
- Ensure packing and loading activity on schedule
- Collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure production equipment in good condition
- Collaborate with the PPIC department to ensure production schedule followed accordingly
- Collaborate with the QC department to ensure the quality of the product
Administrative:
- Report production cycle time
- Create Work Order for maintenance in production area
- Create Root Cause Analysis for deviation in production process
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor / Diploma degree with engineering background
- High school degree with more longer experience in chemical plant
Experience:
- Min. 5 years of experience working in chemical plant (bachelor)
- Min. 7 years of experience working in chemical plant (high school)
Other Competencies:
- Sound technical knowledge in production or plant related function
- Leadership skill
- High level of initiative to get the work done
- Analytical thinking and troubleshooting
- Reporting method, computer & program literacy
- Able to communicate in English is preferable
