BASF ECMS is looking for a creative and driven Communications Intern to join our team for the summer. This role offers hands-on experience supporting a key brand initiative led by the Digital Communications Manager, with exposure across web, social media, digital screens and internal education.
You will not just observe. You will contribute, create and help bring ideas to life.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build real experience in communications and brand strategy, while seeing how digital channels and culture initiatives come together inside a large organization.
We are looking for summer interns available to work a hybrid schedule in our Iselin, NJ office. Ideally our intern will be with us from June through the end of August or through September depending on volume of work and school schedule. If selected to interview you will be asked to submit a writing sample and a portfolio of work (if you have one).
Pay for the role will be $25-28 dollars an hour. *If you are selected for this position, you will be hired by one of our Staffing Agency partners as a Temporary Employee.

What You Will Do
- Support a brand initiative across digital channels including web, social media and internal platforms
- Help create and refine content that is clear, engaging and aligned with brand guidelines
- Assist with website updates and improving the overall digital experience
- Contribute to social media planning and content development
- Support internal communications through digital screens and educational materials
- Jump into projects and campaigns where extra support and fresh ideas are needed
- Exposure to a real-time change management effort and the role communications plays in driving it
- Participation in culture and engagement activities that shape the employee’s experience
- Collaboration with a global, cross-functional team
- A Sophomore or Junior studying Business, Communications, Marketing or a related field
- Curious about digital communications, branding and storytelling
- Creative, detail-oriented and willing to share ideas
- Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dive in
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
