As a Project Controls Engineering, you create chemistry by…
- Providing cost controls for capital investments of various size and complexity, also providing proper variance explanation and root causes analysis of changes.
- Collaborating in the development and improving of cost controlling and tools and processes and actively participating in the overall cost control process, ensuring proper progress tracking, and changing management systems are in place, and effectively functioning in detailed engineering and construction phases of projects.
- Working with project team members to evaluate project scope deliverables and the resulting cost. Constructively challenge the results and provide feedback.
- Assisting in the development and improvement of cost estimating tools and processes.
- Contributing to the BASF cost engineering global community meetings and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
If you...
- Bachelors in engineering, Construction Management, Finance/Accounting, Business or Mathematics
- Experience in Engineering, Accounting, or Construction practices in in a chemical/petrochemical or similar manufacturing environment
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Risk Management, Analytical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as in SAP
