LEAD AUDIO VISUAL TECHNICIAN
Skills and Responsibilities

Leading a team of installers on various AV installations (new construction and finished spaces)

Installing AV equipment, including TVs, speakers, projectors, projector screens, video walls, amps, DSPs, switchers, touch panels

Being competent in reading wiring diagrams and AV drawings, terminating cables, building racks, and commissioning systems

Being a team player and representing Basesix with a team player attitude

Drive and operate vehicles and other machinery
-
Travel to various customer work sites throughout the workday/workweek

Operate power tools and equipment
-
Lift and carry items weighting up to 50 lbs.

Climb and work on ladders, scaffolds, and other elevated work surfaces
-
Frequent use of stairs
-
Other items as needed
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED certificate
-
Work experience with low voltage structured cabling
-
Experience with commercial and residential systems
-
Troubleshooting skills
-
Ability to work on ladders and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Ability to read and comprehend written communication

Frequent use of stairs, climbing and descending

Ability to stand up to 4 hours at a time

Valid driver's license
