Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Radon Mitigation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the installation and maintenance of radon mitigation systems. This role requires hands-on work, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
Duties
- Install radon mitigation systems according to company protocols and safety standards.
- Conduct diagnostic tests to determine radon levels and the appropriate mitigation approach.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of installed systems to ensure functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with radon mitigation systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain the mitigation process and provide education on radon risks.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Experience in radon mitigation or plumbing required
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in crawl spaces or attics
- Certification in radon mitigation (preferred but not required)
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in various conditions (e.g., basements, crawl spaces).
