Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Subcontractor/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various construction projects by performing hands-on labor, assisting with building material installation, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Duties
- Assist with the installation of building materials including drywall, stucco, tile, and trim carpentry components.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, measuring, and assembling structures.
- Support masonry work, hardscaping projects, and outdoor construction tasks including hardscape installation.
- Help with window and door hanging, electrical wiring support, plumbing setup, and other building system installations.
- Follow detailed construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site by disposing of debris and ensuring safety standards are upheld.
- Operate heavy equipment as needed under supervision for excavation or material transport.
- Have working knowledge of waterproofing techniques and installation
Requirements
- Prior construction experience or familiarity with building sites is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Experience with drywall installation, plastering, caulking, stucco application, masonry work, or tile laying is highly desirable.
- Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions is preferred.
- Strong safety protocol adherence to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and others.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required.
- Excellent physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
