Duties
- Prepare detailed construction estimates using Planswift and our in-house costing software
- Develop accurate project budgets by analyzing plans, specifications, and site conditions.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Oversee cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle to maintain profitability.
- Coordinate with construction site teams to monitor progress, quality standards, and safety compliance.
- Review and interpret construction contracts, change orders, and scope of work documents.
- Lead project meetings with stakeholders to communicate progress, risks, and solutions effectively.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies during project execution.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, budgets, and forecasts for senior management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Planswift, and other relevant estimating or project management software.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
- Extensive knowledge of construction processes and site management
- Ability to interpret complex plans, specifications, and contractual documents accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Construction site experience is highly desirable to understand field operations thoroughly.
- Demonstrated ability in cost control, budgeting, and financial forecasting for large-scale projects. This role is integral to our company's success in delivering high-quality construction projects efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships through effective estimation and project management practices.
