Laundry Attendant – Hotel Services

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper

Position Summary

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for cleaning, folding, and organizing hotel linens, towels, and sheets to ensure our guests always receive fresh, high-quality items during their stay. Your efficiency and attention to detail will help maintain the high standards our hotel is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry and fold hotel linens and towels according to hotel standards.



• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.


• Inspect items for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues to supervisors.


• Properly store clean linens in designated storage areas to maintain organization and cleanliness.


• Monitor and maintain supply levels for laundry detergents and cleaning products.


• Follow all safety procedures, including the proper handling of cleaning chemicals.


• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry room and report any equipment maintenance needs.


• Assist others within the housekeeping department with removing linens from rooms that need to be laundered.



• Respond to special housekeeping requests when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is a plus, but not required — we’re happy to train the right person!



• Ability to lift, push, or pull laundry bags and carts (up to 50 lbs).


• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.


• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in a warm environment.


• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and good communication skills.



• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts as needed.
