Whether you’re greeting guests, taking orders, running food, or supporting the coffee bar, your contribution helps create the kind of atmosphere that keeps people coming back and bring a bit of joy to the world.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming first impression
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using a POS system
- Run food and drinks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Provide attentive, friendly service throughout the guest experience
- Upsell menu items in a natural, helpful way to enhance guest experience
- Handle cashiering duties including processing payments and giving correct change
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and keeping the space inviting
- Support food safety and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist with coffee and barista tasks as needed (experience is a plus)
- Stay proactive on the floor and support the team during busy shifts
- (Our catering business is thriving - so there are additional opportunities to work events)
What We’re Looking For
- Positive, upbeat attitude and a genuine love for working with people
- Self-starter who takes initiative and doesn’t wait to be told what to do
- Strong customer service skills and ability to create connection with guests
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Previous experience in food service, retail, or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha, Micros, etc.) is a plus
- Barista or coffee experience is a bonus, but not required
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads
