Job Summary
Looking for a third Varsity assistant for local high school in Hacienda Heights. Stipend available during season. Young talented core.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective training programs that enhance players' skills and performance.
- Conduct regular practices focusing on technique, teamwork, and game strategy.
- Provide constructive feedback to players to aid in their development.
- Organize and oversee team events, including games, tournaments, and community outreach activities.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for all athletes, promoting respect and teamwork.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school staff regarding player progress and team activities.
- Monitor player behavior during practices and games, implementing behavior management strategies as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is preferred.
- High School or College Baseball experience.
- Experienced Pitching also a plus.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
Work Location: In person
