Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer
Base Rock Minerals is looking to fill a position at our Fruitland Quarry in Southeast Missouri. We are looking for a safety minded motivated individual with heavy equipment operating experience on bulldozers, excavators, and off road haul trucks. Additional responsibilities will include assisting plant personnel with maintenance activities and clean up. The position is full time with full benefits package including insurance, 401K, PTO, boot allowance, etc. Competitive starting pay based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general quarry labor duties
- Operate machinery and equipment as needed
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of work areas
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
- Adhere to project timelines and meet productivity goals
Skills:
- Ability to operate various types of machinery and equipment
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity
- Basic knowledge of construction or industrial processes
- Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols
- Effective communication skills to work well within a team environment
