What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Consultant position at BASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES LLC?
Position Summary: Primary responsibilities include leasing, advertising, resident retention, market surveys and office duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Marketing and advertising the community to maintain a high level of prospective traffic
- Showing apartments and processing applications for prospective residents
- Answering phones in a courteous and professional manner
- Inspecting vacant units daily to ensure they are ready to show
- Creating and maintaining a positive Community environment, including planning resident events and maintaining an excellent customer service relationship with residents and prospects
- Reviewing and updating unit availability daily
- Initiating and managing lease renewals
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be self-motivated, independent and able to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate ability to close prospective residents
- Possess computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office software and property management software
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality to ensure all essential duties are fulfilled to meet and exceed expectations
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Must have a valid drivers license and insurance
- Track record of longevity with previous employers with evidence of growth within your roll
