Job Summary
The Maintenance Associate’s primary responsibility is the upkeep and operation of the physical property. The successful associate will be self-focused, able to prioritize tasks, and complete duties quickly, efficiently, and without oversight.
Overview
- Work without direct oversight and complete duties and checklists effectively and efficiently.
- Complete checklists and work orders daily.
- Maintains clean and organized working area to maximize job efficiency.
- Acquires working knowledge of the property and all facilities to ensure all revenue centers are operational.
- Understands and applies all hotel safety and security procedures.
- Keeps immediate Supervisor informed of any problems or unusual matters so prompt corrective action can be taken.
- Performs other duties as requested or required.
Requirements
- Ability to perform job duties with a minimum of disruption to the guest.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and reliably follow-through on tasks.
- Ability to safely work with cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to complete seasonal outdoor tasks (i.e. shoveling, grounds clean up).
- Detail oriented with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to constant change.
- Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle.
- On call availability preferred.
- Basic grounds maintenance; debris removal, shoveling, plowing, lawn care as needed.
- Basic understanding of HVAC and PTAC equipment functionality or the ability to acquire these skills.
- Light Mechanical maintenance skills or the ability to acquire these skills.
- Familiarity with OSHA/EPA and FEMA standards or the ability to acquire these skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
