Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency across all dishes
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, dicing, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety standards
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods by managing multiple orders simultaneously
- Adhere to safety standards in production, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in slicing techniques for efficient food preparation
- Experience with meal preparation, catering, or dietary department work is a plus
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and safe food industry practices
