Dermatology Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant position in growing dermatology office. Previous experience in a medical office preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate to be part of our team.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting patients and caregivers
• Rooming patients and collecting initial screening information for provider
• Processing biopsies and relaying patient results in an appropriate and detailed oriented manner
• Interacting with patients in a compassionate upbeat manner
• Willing and able to learn medical terminology and knowledge of dermatology to be able to speak with patients in a educated manner

Medical Assistant Requirements and Preferences

• AA or BS degree; preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; required
• Two (2) years' previous customer service experience in a related supportive position preferred
• Medical office experience preferred
• Medical assistant experience preferred
• Dermatology experience preferred
• EMA Experience Preferred or other EMR
• Able to prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Self-motivated and self-directed with the ability to work autonomously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
