The Manager, PR & Influencer (Earned Media) will lead the development and execution of integrated earned strategies across public relations and influencer marketing to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day execution while also shaping strategic direction, managing relationships with media and influencers, and ensuring campaigns align with broader marketing objectives.

This individual will serve as a key connector across PR, influencer, and internal teams, elevating storytelling, securing impactful coverage, and building authentic partnerships that strengthen brand presence in culture.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute integrated PR and influencer marketing strategies aligned with brand and business goals
  • Identify opportunities to elevate brand visibility through press, partnerships, talent, and cultural moments
  • Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks across earned channels
  • Provide guidance and oversight on campaign planning, timelines, and execution
  • Mentor and support junior team members or coordinators on execution and best practices

PR & Media Relations

  • Lead development of creative publicity plans, media strategies, and storytelling angles
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with editors, journalists, and industry contacts
  • Oversee media outreach, pitch development, and press engagement
  • Identify and secure press opportunities, thought leadership placements, and awards
  • Prepare brand spokespeople and internal stakeholders for media opportunities
  • Monitor media landscape, trends, and coverage to inform strategy

Influencer Strategy & Management

  • Own end-to-end influencer strategy across campaigns, seeding, and long-term partnerships
  • Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with influencers, creators, and KOLs across all tiers
  • Oversee campaign execution including briefing, content review, approvals, and delivery
  • Lead contract negotiations, deliverables, and compensation structures
  • Build and nurture an engaged influencer community aligned with brand values
  • Ensure influencer content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and performance goals

Campaign Execution & Operations

  • Oversee execution of integrated PR and influencer campaigns from concept through reporting
  • Ensure seamless coordination between internal teams (creative, social, product, marketing)
  • Manage timelines, workflows, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Support and oversee event strategy, including media and influencer participation
  • Ensure high-quality execution across all touchpoints

Events & Experiences

  • Develop strategies for integrating PR and influencers into brand events
  • Identify and invite key media and influencers to maximize exposure
  • Oversee on-site execution including talent management and content capture
  • Track and evaluate event performance and earned impact

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and analyze performance across PR placements and influencer campaigns using key metrics (reach, engagement, conversions)
  • Oversee monthly reporting and ensure alignment with KPIs and client/business goals
  • Deliver actionable insights to optimize future campaigns and strategies
  • Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends

Brand Expertise & Tools

  • Maintain deep knowledge of brand, products, and competitive landscape
  • Stay current on influencer trends, media landscape, and cultural insights
  • Leverage tools such as Sprout Social/Tagger, Tribe, MuckRack, and other platforms for sourcing, tracking, and reporting

Skills & ExperienceQualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
  • 4–6 years of experience in PR, influencer marketing, or earned media, preferably in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle
  • Proven experience developing and executing integrated PR and influencer campaigns

Compensation

Salary: $80-85k
