2nd Shift Production Team Member

Come join our second shift maple syrup production team! You'll work 2:30pm-11pm Monday-Friday with occasional opportunities for voluntary Saturday overtime when available. 

Major Responsibilities/Activities

• 
  Assist Line Leader in setup for production runs and changeovers.
• 
  Load containers onto conveyors for filling.
• 
  Package containers into case boxes.
• 
  Palletize completed cases according to established pallet patterns.
• 
  Production area and equipment cleaning as directed.
• 
  Rework projects including labeling, case boxing, and repalletizing product.
• 
  Assist in performing periodic inventory counts of products.
  
• 
  Other tasks as requested.
  

Minimum Requirements

• 
  Basic math-counting, addition, subtraction
• 
  Reading ability
• 
  High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• 
  Consistent attendance history

Essential Physical & Mental Functions

We're looking for a team player who can work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment and be able to follow both verbal and written instructions. You must be able to quickly identify potential product quality issues and show attention to detail while performing repetitive production tasks.

The Production Team is standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping during the shift duration. Fine motor skills and the ability to perform repetitive tasks is required. You will need to regularly lift/move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Because you're part of a team, this position requires consistent attendance and punctuality. Shift schedule is generally inflexible except when dictated by workflow and production needs by the Production Manager.
