**Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Role**
- Perform one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments for veterans at multiple locations in Arkansas.
- Provider must have their own office location within a preferred mileage radius of assigned areas.
- Work on a PRN basis with ongoing opportunities, including the option to work half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours).
Compensation is competitive with hourly rates between $85 and $100 per hour, paid weekly, and includes malpractice coverage. Providers will need a laptop (Windows-based) and active, unrestricted licensure in Arkansas. Certification as a DMA provider is also required, which involves completing DMA training. The role requires proficiency in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Experience with compensation and pension exams is beneficial but not necessary. This position is not suitable for active military personnel, those in reserves, or currently employed by the VA.
