BaRupOn is a fast-growing power and energy infrastructure company driving innovative solutions for grid stability, renewable integration, and sustainable industrial development. We are currently expanding operations and are seeking a dedicated Accountant to support our growing financial activities.
Position Summary
The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and supporting audits and budgeting processes. This role plays a key part in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare, review, and maintain financial records including general ledgers, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Assist in budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal/state financial regulations
• Support audits by providing documentation and explanations to auditors
• Track project and operational expenditures, especially for construction and energy contracts
• Collaborate with procurement, project managers, and executive leadership on financial reporting
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
• 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in construction, energy, or infrastructure sectors
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• CPA or pursuit of CPA certification is a plus
