Greenhouse Laborer and Driver Position/ Seasonal Employment

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in a dual-capacity role. You will spend your time both in the greenhouse—assisting with the production and maintenance of high-quality plants—and on the road, delivering finished products to our customers. This is a physically active position that requires attention to detail and a commitment to customer service.
· Greenhouse Labor:
o Assist with soil preparation, filling flats, and moving heavy materials like soil bags and large pots.
o Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping and sanitizing production areas.
· Driving & Logistics:
o Safely load and unload company vehicles, ensuring plants are secured to prevent damage during transit.
o Deliver wholesale or retail products to customer sites following prearranged routes.
o Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries and obtain necessary paperwork or signatures.
· Requirements:
o Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no major violations).
o Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50–60 lbs repetitively.
o Comfort working in various temperatures, including hot and humid greenhouse conditions.
o Reliability and punctuality, especially for early morning delivery schedules.
· Preferred:
o Previous experience in horticulture, farming, or delivery driving.
o Basic plant identification skills.
o Experience operating small machinery like tractors or skid steers.
Work Schedule
- Part-time or seasonal, typically Monday–Sunday during peak fall season.
