Overview

Duties
- Assist with the preparation and filing of probate documents, including petitions, inventories, and accountings
- Conduct research on estate assets, liabilities, and relevant legal statutes to support case development
- Manage data entry tasks accurately within case management systems and maintain organized filing systems
- Handle clerical responsibilities such as document scanning, copying, and maintaining case files
- Respond professionally to inquiries from the public by providing clear information about case status
- Perform office administrative duties including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and processing payments or cash handling as needed
Skills
- Strong research skills with the ability to locate and interpret legal information efficiently
- Paralegal experience preferred to understand court procedures and legal documentation
- Proven office experience with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in legal drafting, word processing software, and data entry tools
- Experience in legal administrative roles involving filing, document management, and clerical support
- Exceptional customer service skills for interacting professionally with the public and team members
