Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics on automatic and manual transmissions using advanced testing equipment and software.
- Identify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic transmission faults with precision.
- Develop detailed repair plans and communicate findings clearly to team members and customers.
- Perform repairs, replacements, and rebuilds of transmission components following manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize learning technology to stay current with evolving transmission systems and diagnostic tools.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and parts used in each service order.
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience diagnosing and repairing automotive transmissions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electronic systems, hydraulics, and mechanical components related to transmissions.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic codes accurately.
