We are currently seeking an Architectural Designer to join our Facilities practice area. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Using computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to create construction documents and detailed designs of buildings and interiors from the guidance of a Project Architect;
- Assist with Building conditions assessments, reports, and field documentation for projects;
- Assist with Building code reviews and compliant studies, under the guidance of a Project Architect;
- Verification of construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications.
- An associate’s degree or certification program in architectural drafting, or similar.
- 2-8 years of applicable experience preferred.
- American design drafting association (ADDA) certification preferred.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software; experience with Revit and AutoCAD is preferred.
- Knowledge of building design, specifications, and construction documents.
- Applicants must be proficient in technical writing and possess proficient verbal and written communication skills, and be able to interact effectively within a project team environment.
- The desire to learn quickly and be self-motivated.
- Take personal responsibility for the accurate and timely completion of assignments on various projects.
