Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus and information about specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using OpenTable or other reservation systems.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts effectively.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Experience
- Previous experience in a server or hospitality role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential for maintaining high standards of hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a nightclub or similar environment.
