Our Heavy Equipment Operator I operates and maintains equipment and Landfill facilities. This includes directing customers, assisting with the Household Hazardous Waste and other programs, and providing education on recycling. Requires a High school diploma or GED. Prefer candidate proficient in heavy diesel equipment operation, torch and welding skills, and some mechanical skills, but will train. Starting pay - $18.00 per hour without CDL and $19.00 an hour with CDL. Successful applicant must pass drug screen and physical assessment.
