This position will provide Adult Education students (and potential students) with information, advice, and guidance suitable to the attainment of basic skills (GED), post-secondary career technical and academic education, and employment. This position will work with the populations in the correctional setting primarily at Ellsworth Correctional Facility. The Education Navigator will provide support services for students transitioning from Adult Education to Barton Community College (BCC). Qualified applicants should have a two-year degree; bachelors degree preferred and two to five years of similar or related experience; strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
