We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Alaska. This opportunity features day shifts Monday through Friday, with on-call weekend and weeknight coverage. Proficiency with the Cerner EMR system is required.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assess and manage patient health in a primary care setting
- D deliver care in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to seasonal patient volume
- Serve as the sole provider or work independently as needed
- Complete patient documentation using Cerner EMR
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and care quality
This role is ideal for clinicians who are comfortable working as the sole provider in a fast-paced environment, especially during seasonal peaks. Alaska licensure, Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP), and Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification are required. Minimum 2 years of experience preferred, with comfort in autonomous practice environments.
Salary : $80,000 - $140,000
