Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Alaska.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and provide comprehensive care
- Manage patient care independently, especially when acting as sole provider
- Adapt to fast-paced environments, with seasonal variations in patient volume
- Complete orientation (typically 3 days) if new to the client
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management
Requirements:
- Active Alaska nurse practitioner license required
- Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
- Prefer at least 2 years of experience, ideally with experience as a sole provider or high comfort level in that capacity
