The Basics

Location: Wilson Mills, NC

Compensation: $22.00/hr and up

Days/Hours: The schedule for this job will rotate btw 1st and 2nd shifts. You will also work some weekends

Equipment Used: Computer and testing equipment

Material Handled: Bulk flour

What You’ll Be Doing

The primary duties of this job will be transferring flour from the mill to the load out area. This will include collecting and analyzing samples, completing all necessary paperwork, checking tailings, filling ingredient feeders, and regular cleaning and maintenance on the equipment used. As with most jobs at a flour mill, housekeeping will be an ongoing duty for this position.

Requirements To Be Successful In This Position

• PC Knowledge
• Able to learn in a hands-on training environment
• Comfortable using various hand tools
• Organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Available to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check

• You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces
• You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
