We are currently seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant I/II to join our team in the Surgery & Specialty Clinic.
This role requires an individual with excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include providing top-notch patient care, maintaining accurate records, and supporting our clinical staff.
Benefits of this role include:
- A competitive compensation package, including $21.74 /hr (Medical Assistant I) or $25.52 /hr (Medical Assistant II), depending on experience
Requirements include:
Medical Assistant I
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: Twelve (12) months clerical experience in a healthcare setting required; Or Six (6) months experience as a Certified Nurse Aid
Substitution: One (1) year of Post-secondary coursework in any field may substitute for the experience requirement
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 60 days of appointment
Medical Assistant II
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: Six (6) months of experience as a Medical Assistant I; Or Six (6) months experience performing ambulatory or medical care working directly with patients; Or Three (3) years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting (performing work equivalent to a BRH Clinical Administrative Assistant II or higher)
Substitution: A Medical Assistant Certificate may substitute for the experience requirement; Or Two (2) years of Post-secondary coursework may substitute for the experience requirement
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 60 days of appointment
Salary : $22 - $26
