Job Summary:
The Nurse Manager oversees and supervises all Home Health services for patients and families in all settings. The manager is responsible to the director for the implementation, delivery, coordination, and supervision of Home Health services delivered by respective team members, consistent with Home Health policies and procedures. The Nurse Manager is a working nurse, with additional employee-relation duties.
Minimum Qualifications for the Job:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in home health nursing, and at least one year of supervisory experience (ex: charge, lead, supervisor, manager, etc.).
License(s): Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license. Valid driver’s license required at the time of hire.
Certification(s):
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire.
- Current auto liability insurance and reliable transportation is required at time of hire.
- Workplace Violence Prevention Training within 90 days of hire.
Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
External Hires: This position starts at $53.58 per hour. Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
