In lieu of fringe benefits, PRN employees will receive a differential which will be a % of their pay in addition to their hourly rate. The differential % will be determined based upon their position.
Pay Information: Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms. External Hires: Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based upon relevant experience.
Diagnostic Sonographer 3: The Diagnostic Sonographer (US) Tech 3 is an advanced-level technologist competent in multiple modalities and capable of providing technical guidance, training, and quality oversight. This role functions with minimal supervision and serves as a resource for other staff.
Diagnostic Sonographer 4: The Diagnostic Sonographer (US) Tech 4 is an expert-level sonographer with advanced competency in cardiac and vascular imaging and recognized as a clinical leader in the department. This position acts as the supervisor in their absence.

- Diagnostic Sonographer 4 starts at $50.07 per hour

- Education: Completion of an accredited sonography program
- Experience: One (1) Year Ultrasound experience
- License(s): None
- Certification(s): ARDMS certification, BLS, registered in adult echo or two non-cardiac specialties and competent in vascular
- Education: Completion of an accredited sonography program
- Experience: Three (3) Year’s Ultrasound experience
- License(s): None
- Certification(s): ARDMS certification, BLS, registered in adult echo or two non-cardiac specialties and competent in vascular
- All new employees are required to produce a negative drug screen for all illegal substances in the State of Alaska prior to the start of employment.
Salary : $48 - $50
