Pay Information:
Internal Hires: Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
External Hires: This position starts at $20.47 per hour. Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based upon relevant experience.
Job Summary:
Under general supervision of the Environmental Services Lead, performs daily linen duties and/or daily cleaning of inpatient, ancillary, outpatient and administrative areas of Bartlett Regional Hospital. The EVS Tech 1 ensures patients, visitors and hospital staff have a safe, clean, functional and aesthetically attractive physical environment consistent with the standards established by Bartlett Regional Hospital, The Joint Commission, the State of Alaska and other regulatory agencies.
Minimum Qualifications for the Job:
Preferred Education: High School diploma or the equivalent.
Preferred Experience: Experience in institutional housekeeping.
