Pay Information: Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms. External Hires: Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based upon relevant experience.
Job Summary: CNA 1:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 1 provides basic direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living under close supervision of licensed nursing staff. This entry-level role focuses on developing competence in foundational CNA skills, safe patient handling, infection prevention, and accurate observation and reporting, while building consistency, confidence, and efficiency in routine care delivery.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 2 independently performs the full range of CNA duties for assigned patients/residents, delivering safe, compassionate care and reliably recognizing and communicating changes in patient/resident condition. This role demonstrates consistent proficiency in ADLs, mobility assistance, vital signs, and documentation, and serves as a dependable member of the care team who supports care planning through accurate observations and effective communication.

- CNA 1 starts at $22.40 per hour
- CNA 2 starts at $26.28 per hour
