What are the responsibilities and job description for the Archery Instructor position at BARTLETT PARK DISTRICT APPLE ORCHARD GOLF COURSE?
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the supervision and archery specific instruction, providing a safe and fun learning environment for children and adults. This is an at-will position.
- Organize and prepare lesson plans in a fun and creative manner.
- Lead participants in outdoor archery recreation programs.
- Prepare and submit program related reports.
- Monitors condition of equipment and facility.
- Gain knowledge and understanding of Park District policies and procedures and see that they are adhered to at all times
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year previous teaching/coaching experience.
- Knowledge of archery form and skills, and basic knowledge of archery equipment maintenance.
- Must have knowledge and ability to teach techniques of archery while maintaining a safe environment for all.
- Archery teaching certification from a nationally recognized organization preferred but not required.
Schedule & Pay Rate: Varied hours available and corresponding with experience. Hiring range is between $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, DOQ.
