Cafe Service Team, Part-Time

We are seeking to expand our team and are looking for talented individuals with service experience to join us up in beautiful Ghent, NY.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to serve seasonal fare, house-made bread/pastries, and high-quality coffee/tea in a destination bakery, kitchen cafe surrounded by countryside.

Available Position(s):

Cafe Service Team Member, Part-Time

Looking to hire candidate who is available to work 1-2 weekend days per week (Saturday/Sunday), with the opportunity to occasionally cover additional days if desired, from the hours of 7 am until roughly 2:30-3 pm

*Please Note: Compensation range includes credit card tips & is based on tipped averages throughout the year, depending on seasonality. Tip amount varies based on days worked & time of year (weekday vs. weekend, Fall/Winter vs. Spring/Summer)

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience in a high-volume bakery/cafe or coffee-centered local food establishment (but also willing to train the right candidates)

Availability to work at least 1 weekend day per week (Saturday and/or Sunday) starting in late Aug/early Sept, with the opportunity to occasionally cover additional days if desired, from the hours of 7 am until roughly 2:30-3 pm

Prior Barista experience slightly preferred, but not required, as we will train the right candidate if they are interested in learning occasionally covering barista shifts. **Please note that we are primarily looking to fill the position of general cafe service team member rather than barista, but there would be opportunity to eventually train on barista
